RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirements as needed to fill staffing needs
• Holiday requirements as needed to fill staffing needs
• No call or standby requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4 on 27-bed telemetry unit (expanding to 37 beds in June)
• Must have 2 years experience as a telemetry nurse
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• BSN degree required
• Must have cardiac drip experience with set rate diltiazem and amiodarone
• Must have NIH stroke assessment experience, post catheterization recovery, and chest tube experience
• Experience with TR bands and Fem stops preferred for post cath lab patients
• Read and document telemetry every 6 hours using SpaceLab monitors (transitioning to Philips)
• Float requirements to like units, Med/Surg, and potentially to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
• May float to ICU if experienced
• System onboarding plus 2 orientation shifts
• Professional scrubs of any color required as long as clean and well-kept
• EPIC charting system
• Care for patients with CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, and pneumothorax
• Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
