Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Weston, FL

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026.

Role Overview

You will work as a surgical tech supporting the OR team across 18 rooms with a daily census of 55–60 patients. You will work with adult and geriatric populations, assist in case setup and breakdown, and be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facilities. You will also participate in training students and new staff.

Shift & Schedule

This position offers 3x12-hour day shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift options, weekend requirements, and on-call expectations will be discussed during your phone interview with the manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months OR tech experience; 2 years preferred
• BLS certification required
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification recommended
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) screening required; must be nicotine-free
• Willingness to float to support facility needs
• Ability to wear ceil blue scrubs

Onboarding & Training

A 40-hour orientation is required. You will complete time-sensitive modules averaging 6–15 hours before your start date. During orientation, you will take an EKG test and pharmacy test (maximum 2 attempts each). All request time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.

Facility Details

The facility uses EPIC charting. Free unrestricted parking is available. You will work in a Cleveland Clinic system hospital in Weston, Florida.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $1,533.60.
