<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Perfusionist - Perfusionist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 5x8 hour shifts with shift times varying based on facility needs<br>• Must independently assist in ECMO cannulation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients<br>• ECMO transport capability is mandatory<br>• Minimum 5 years of perfusion experience required<br>• Must be comfortable operating in fast-paced emergent cardiac cases<br>• Required to work in CVOR, General OR, Pedi CVOR, Pedi General OR, and Trauma Level 1 settings<br>• Must have experience with all specialized equipment including Spectrum Pump (mandatory), Terumo system 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, ISTAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, and CardioQuip HC<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP)<br>• Bachelor&#39;s degree in related field of study required<br>• Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required<br>• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted<br>• Scrubs provided by facility<br>• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics<br>• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiac surgery program with advanced perfusion services supporting complex cardiac procedures. The facility maintains state-of-the-art equipment and recently transitioned to Spectrum pumps throughout their cardiac surgery departments.
