Respiratory Therapist Job in Bozeman, MT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for Bozeman Deaconess Hospital in Bozeman, MT. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning May 28, 2026, with rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and on-call hours. You will work 36 hours per week at $2,920 weekly pay.

Your Role

You will provide respiratory care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. You will administer respiratory therapy treatments, manage nebulized medications, and set up and monitor mechanical ventilators with associated critical care duties. Your responsibilities include performing arterial punctures for blood gas analysis, documenting all pertinent data in electronic health records, and coordinating patient care with other departments and disciplines.

Key Duties

• Administer oxygen delivery and manage respiratory equipment safely and correctly
• Train and act as a resource for the respiratory department
• Maintain knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and necessary equipment
• Manage and operate respiratory equipment in compliance with facility protocols
• Document all patient data accurately in electronic health records

Requirements

• Montana Licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• NBRC certification
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS and AHA PALS within three months of hire
• NRP within three months of hire
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods
• Must reside at least 90 miles away from the facility

Preferred Certifications

NBRC-NPS and/or NBRC-ACCS.

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract due to low census or unforeseen circumstances. You may be required to work beyond the standard 40-hour workweek.
