RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour day shifts with a variable day off
• Call required approximately 9 to 10 days per month
• Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and apply sterilization techniques in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Act as a patient advocate while assisting physicians with cardiovascular studies and interventions
• Assist with Special Procedure studies and interventions
• Perform and support procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, and permanent pacemaker insertion
• Support interventional radiology and vascular procedures including angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, and endovascular interventions
• Maintain sterile field and perform scrub and circulator roles
• Monitor hemodynamic status and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Work with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• ADN with current Arkansas license in good standing or Compact State license required
• BSN or MSN preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
