PT - Physical Therapist Acute Care

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with 1 weekend per month required
• No call requirements
• Block scheduling type
• Float within facility and scope of practice (acute care) as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include acute care, assessment, discharge planning, evaluation, geriatrics, long-term goals, neurology, orthopedics, plan of care, reassessments, rehabilitation, short-term goals, and time management
• Charting system experience required; Epic experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and state license (in hand)
• 8 orientation hours required
• If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it; if two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both; if three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all time off must be finalized at time of submission
