Cath Lab Technologist Job in Tacoma, WA

St Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join their cardiac catheterization laboratory. This is a 91-day travel assignment with day shifts running 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, plus call responsibilities of 8–10 days per 6-week period. You will earn $3,442.68 weekly.

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor, and document cardiac catheterization and EP procedures
• Handle right and left heart catheterizations with or without intervention
• Support structural heart and vascular cases, including TAVR and mitral clip procedures
• Manage sedation and Phase 1 recovery protocols
• Assist with IABP and Impella insertion procedures
• Float between the Cath Lab and EP lab as part of a combined unit team approach
• Work with EPIC charting, MacLab, and GE imaging equipment
• Average 22 total cases per day between both labs; initial caseload typically begins at 15 with potential for up to 15 add-on cases
• You may work past the scheduled end time to complete all cases

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of procedural experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, ARSL, BLS, and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery required
• ICU or PACU experience preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in Cath Lab and EP procedures
