Physical Therapist Job in Atlantis, FL

You'll work as a Physical Therapist in the inpatient rehabilitation unit at HCA Florida JFK Hospital, a 42-bed facility in Atlantis, Florida. This is a travel position lasting 91 days, beginning March 23, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 5x8 day shifts with one weekend per month and weekdays off for balance
• No on-call requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,044

Your Role

You'll provide inpatient rehabilitation care to patients with orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical conditions. You'll use treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes as part of your clinical toolkit. Patient ratios vary based on volume.

You'll work alongside a director, lead PT, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and assistants in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year current hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or skilled nursing facility experience
• BLS certification required
• DPT preferred
• Ability to work varied day shift hours as determined by surgical volume

Facility Details

You'll use the Meditech EMR system. The schedule adjusts based on surgical volume with weekend and holiday rotation built in. You'll wear grey scrubs.
