About this role
St Lukes Meridian Medical Center is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment on a 27-bed telemetry unit (expanding to 37 beds in June). You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Weekly pay is $2,102.40, with a start date of June 22, 2026.
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings every 6 hours on both SpaceLab and Philips systems
- Manage patients with CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and post-cath lab conditions
- Administer cardiac drips including diltiazem and amiodarone at set rates
- Perform NIH stroke assessments and post-cath recovery care
- Manage chest tubes and TR bands; experience with fem stops preferred
- Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Use EPIC charting system
- Float to like units, Med/Surg, and ICU (if experienced) as needed; may float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- BSN degree
- Minimum 2 years telemetry nursing experience
- Cardiac drip, NIH stroke assessment, post-cath recovery, and chest tube experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
What We Offer:
- System onboarding plus 2 orientation shifts provided
- No call or standby requirements
- Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
- Professional scrubs required (any color, clean and well-kept)
You must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. This is a no-call position with straightforward scheduling and clinical focus on cardiac and acute care patients.
