RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract with 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Overtime after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Must pass EKG test during first week of hire
• Minimum 1 year strong cardiac experience required (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)
• 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Must have experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips
• At least one travel assignment completion required
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Work in 44-bed intermediate cardiac step-down unit with fast-paced, high patient turnover
• Care for post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF, post-procedure cath patients
• Handle pacer, defibrillator, ablations, acute chest pain/MI, and medical/surgical overflow cases
• Typical patient ratio 1:4
• Must be able to work independently and manage change well
• Any color scrubs allowed
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
