Cath Lab Technologist

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 2-3 on-call shifts per week with 1-2 call weekends per 6-week period
• On-call requires being within 30 miles or 30 minutes from campus
• Daily caseload of 25-30 cases across 4 cath lab rooms
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Must have experience with LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, Peripherals, IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, and Rotablader
• Cardiac cath lab procedure experience required: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Right heart catheterization, and Rotablader
• General skills required: Scrub, Monitor, and EKG
• EKG experience required: Obtaining vitals, Outpatient, 12 Lead EKG, and Rhythm Interpretation
• Electrophysiology procedure experience required: Cardioversion
• Preferred additional skills: Circulate, IV Start, Phlebotomy, Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Ablations, Pacemaker/Defibrillator device placement, Pacemakers, Sinus Node Rhythms, Pacemaker Insertion, and EPIC
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must hold either RCIS certification or ARRT; if ARRT, a valid Virginia state license must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Virginia license must be active and in hand at time of submission; pending licenses will not be accepted
