Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Self-scheduling flexibility
• Patient ratios of 7 patients during days and nights
• Weekend coverage required
• No floating or call requirements
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• One pre-approved time off request allowed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Level III NICU experience preferred
• Pediatric/nursery experience preferred
• Basic critical care experience required
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Will accept CRT certification
• Required certifications: BLS, RRT
• Skills include adult critical care, emergency department procedures, intubation assist, extubation, airway management, suctioning, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, and troubleshooting ventilator alarms
• Care for patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults
• Work with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and rapid response teams
• Experience with ICU and ER procedures are top requirements
• Must complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
• License must be in-hand before start date
• Hard documents due 3 business days prior to start
• Modules completed during orientation (2-3 hours average)
