Pharmacy Technician

Opportunity:

Pharmacy Tech - Pharmacy Tech Inpatient

Job Details:

• 40 hours per week with shifts between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Every 3rd or 4th Saturday required from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Ideal candidate will be IV trained and experienced with hazardous and non-hazardous preparations
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Pennsylvania state pharmacy license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• EPIC and Pyxis experience required
• Required certifications: Chemo/Hazardous Drug, CPhT, IV Certification
• Required skills: Aseptic technique, automation use and problem resolution, carousel system, compounding sterile and non-sterile products, generic/brand names of pharmaceuticals, inpatient/acute care, ordering and receiving processes, preparing chemo, preparing IV mixtures, sterilizing a laminar or horizontal flow hood
• May float to a secondary location approximately 2 miles away
• Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract
