PCU Registered Nurse Job in Anniston, AL

RMC Anniston is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. This 84-week travel assignment begins July 6, 2026, and offers a stable schedule with competitive weekly compensation of $1,944.

Schedule & Location

• 3x12 hour day shifts
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Float assignments to Med-Surg units as needed

Role Responsibilities

• Patient ratios of 1:5 on the PCU unit; 1:6 on Med-Surg and Telemetry
• Manage cardiac monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias
• Initiate and maintain peripheral and central lines
• Administer and manage cardiac drips (no titration required)
• Manage Heparin protocols
• Perform IV starts
• Administer blood products and oxygen therapy
• Provide non-invasive airway management and isolation precautions
• Respond to rapid response and code team activations

Required Qualifications

• Current Alabama RN License
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Telemetry and PCU/stepdown experience
• Proficiency with any electronic health record charting system
• Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills
