Opportunity:

RN - Rehab Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Float between Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU) and Level 7 General Med/Surg
• Maintain 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio in 7-bed unit
• Must have 2 years of Med/Surg or Rehab experience; rehab experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Required certifications: BLS and RN License
• Work with common diagnoses including CVA, TIA, MI, hip fractures, Parkinson's, chronic condition exacerbations, debility, MVA, and TBI
• No charge nurse on shift - 1 nurse per shift with 1 PCT support
• Required to attend weekly interdisciplinary team meetings/huddles
• No drip titration required
• Float to other Med/Surg, Med/Surg-Tele, or IMC units when no rehab census
• Work with PT, OT, and SLP teams
• Use respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
• Holiday rotation requirements with alternating groups
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Chart using Cerner system
• 1 day orientation with educator plus 1-2 days with preceptor
• Must submit copy of unexpired driver's license (50-mile radius rule applies)
