Job Details:

• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in hospital setting
• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Perform patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs
• Conduct bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in evaluation of patient care
• Participate in patient education and assess readiness to learn
• Utilize healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures in care delivery
• Consult with appropriate resources regarding patients with complex care issues
• Participate in unit goals and performance improvement activities
• One year of nursing experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ADN or ASN from accredited school of nursing required
• BSN or MSN from accredited school preferred
• Licensed to practice as Registered Nurse in North Carolina required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required
• Infusion experience and/or phlebotomy and IV skills preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Experience with IV pump programming and basic vital signs equipment needed
