Occupational Therapist Job in Wichita, KS

You will provide evaluation and treatment services for acute inpatient rehabilitation patients at Wesley Rehabilitation Center in Wichita, Kansas. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Day shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Weekly pay: $2,044

Your Responsibilities

• Carry up to 6-hour treatment load per 8-hour shift
• Perform ADLs and IADLs with patients
• Track patient time and charges to ensure 3-hour therapy requirement is met
• Work with ESTIM, patient lifts, ADL equipment, gym equipment, and IADLs
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Demonstrate flexibility with start and stop treatment times and weekend rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas occupational therapy licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 6 months current acute care OT experience
• Team player attitude with hands-on clinical approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Lymphedema certification
• Neuro certification or relevant experience

You will work within a collaborative acute care rehabilitation environment, providing direct patient care in a structured therapy program.
