OR RN Job in Socorro, NM

Presbyterian Health Services Inc in Socorro, NM is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a travel assignment. This is a nights position working 5x8 hour shifts over an 89-day contract starting June 22, 2026. You'll earn $2,575.58 weekly.

In this role, you will:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient needs
• Document all patient care activities, actions taken, and responses according to facility policy
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or established protocols
• Coordinate patient care through active collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Initiate and utilize appropriate clinical protocols and standards of care specific to operating room procedures
• Identify and address patient and family learning needs and discharge planning throughout the care episode
• Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel
• Complete required competency testing and procedure-specific education per unit standards
• Deliver safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care to all patients

You will work nights with potential floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles as operational needs require. This assignment offers you the opportunity to develop your operating room nursing expertise while supporting a busy surgical services team at an established healthcare facility.
