Telemetry RN Job in Burlington, NC

Cone Health - Alamance Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Telemetry unit in Burlington, NC. You'll work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on an every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday schedule.

Your Role:

• Care for general surgical patients with pre-op and post-op needs
• Handle medical overflow patients including BiPAP and drips (excluding true cardiac cases)
• Perform remote telemetry monitoring throughout your shift
• Manage 1:5-6 patient ratios with facility caps ensuring you do not exceed 6 patients
• Work alongside CNA support and unit secretary
• Float to all Cone Health campuses as needed for patient care

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Charge RN experience preferred
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
