PCU Registered Nurse Job in Cleveland, OH

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus – Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You'll deliver patient care in a structured environment where clinical skills and attention to detail directly impact outcomes.

• Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts with rotating day/night hours (7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Shifts may vary based on operational needs. You must work at least every other holiday.
• Assignment: Primary placement in HVTI-Stepdown unit with potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED for the same patient population.
• Duration: 91 days, starting May 15, 2026.
• Weekly Pay: $2,428.20

Experience & Credentials Required:

• 18 months of permanent stepdown specialty experience prior to travel
• 18 months of recent stepdown experience (travel experience accepted)
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at start
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification

What to Expect:

• Complete pre-start modules (4–15 hours) via Silkroad system
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation with acceptable scores required; maximum 2 attempts allowed
• Complete badging and fingerprinting at the facility prior to your start date
• Track hours worked using the Qualivis Lotus system

Progressive care experience is preferred but not required. You'll work in a team environment where your clinical judgment and reliability are essential to patient safety and unit operations.
