Medical Lab Technician Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander is seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work a 5x8 day shift schedule at $2,101.60 weekly, with the flexibility to adjust your hours as needed.

About the Role

You'll perform laboratory testing across multiple departments, with the option to float to additional Aspirus sites including Tomahawk, Eagle River, and Howard Young as needed. Floating may be prescheduled or assigned based on facility needs. Strong blood bank skills are preferred, and you must be proficient in phlebotomy with experience in ABG collection preferred.

Schedule Details

• 5x8 day shift with flexible scheduling options (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts available across days, evenings, and nights)
• Guaranteed 80 hours biweekly with overtime compensation after 80 hours in the second week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Subject to low census with possible call placement; call-back minimum is 2 hours

Required Qualifications

• Current MLT, MT, or CLS certification (ASCP preferred but not required)
• Associate or bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3+ years of core lab experience
• 1 travel assignment required
• Epic charting system experience required
