ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - CCU

Job Details:

• Float pool position with floating throughout the hospital including the Emergency Department as needed
• Primary location will be in the ER hold area
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• No block schedule requests accepted
• 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must be proficient in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac drips, and titrating vasoactive drips
• Holiday work requirements: if one major holiday falls during assignment period, expected to work it; if two major holidays fall during assignment, expected to work both; if three major holidays fall during assignment, expected to work two
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with all RTO finalized at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time with all documents due Tuesday prior to start
