Cath Lab Technologist Job in Tampa, FL

You'll work as a Cath Lab Technologist at St. Josephs Hospital, part of Baycare Health System in Tampa, Florida. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4x10 hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• One weekend per month required
• On-call 1–2 days per week plus one weekend per month
• $2,462.40 weekly pay

Core Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with vascular surgical endovascular procedures including EVAR, TEVAR, aortagram, and peripheral runoffs
• Support left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), PTCA, cardiac stent placement, TAVR, IVC filter placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, rotablader atherectomy, and Impella insertion
• Perform EKG lead placement and hemodynamic monitoring
• Serve as room circulator and scrub while maintaining sterile field
• Support daily census of 7 to 20 patients across 3 rooms

Required Qualifications

• Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent
• Minimum 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience with hybrid OR experience in endovascular procedures
• Travel experience required
• Florida license or compact license required
• Certifications: ARRT R, ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with IVUS, Atherectomy CSI, Penumbra, and peripheral procedures
• Experience with Xper Hemodynamic Monitoring System
• Cerner charting experience
• Community hospital background
• Trauma Level I facility experience

You'll care for adult and geriatric patients in a community hospital setting. Scrub color is Caribbean Blue.
