Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a registered nurse for the operating room on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with holiday rotation, and up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks. On-call requirements include up to 4 weeknight call shifts per 4-week schedule.

What you'll do:

• Train to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures across all specialties including trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics
• Manage a 1:1 patient ratio and care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units and sister facilities as assigned
• Use EPIC charting system
• Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) as required

Requirements:

• Current SC or Multi State/Compact RN license
• BLS certification required; Radiation Badge provided by agency
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• 2 years of OR experience strongly preferred; first-timers accepted
• Scrub experience strongly preferred

What we offer:

• Weekly pay of $2,102.40

This is a Level 1 trauma center with comprehensive surgical services. You'll work alongside experienced surgical teams and develop broad procedural knowledge in a high-acuity setting.
