Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - IR</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Provide nursing care for patients before, during, and after electrophysiology procedures<br>• Care for structural heart patients (including Watchman), lead extractions, ablations, vascular and EP pacemaker/device patients<br>• Perform pre-procedure assessments, pre-medication, and patient education<br>• Document procedural processes and manage dysrhythmia interpretation<br>• Circulate and assist during cases, including sterile supply management and scrubbing in cases<br>• Record all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets<br>• Assist Radiologic Technologists with case circulation and sterile supply management<br>• On-call requirements: 2 weekdays per month and 1 weekend every 8 weeks<br>• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)<br>• Michigan nursing license required<br>• Minimum 2+ years of experience required<br>• Invasive imaging experience required<br>• Electrophysiology experience preferred<br>• Skills checklist current within 1 year required<br>• 2 supervisory reference forms completed within last two years required<br>• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive interventional radiology department specializing in advanced cardiac procedures and electrophysiology services.
