Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts from 10:45 AM to 9:15 PM with rotating days off
• Weekday and weekend call required
• On-call by rotation with 30-minute call response time requirement
• Two specialty call teams cover every night: ortho/neuro and cardio/thoracic
• Facility operates 19 OR suites handling 55-60 cases per day (approximately 1,000 per month)
• Full-service facility performing a wide range of cases including ortho/neuro trauma and robotics (no major pediatric cases, no transplants, no C-sections in main OR)
• Functions as a level 2 trauma center
• Scrubbing required for OR techs (CST required); scrubbing preferred but not required for RNs
• Must have basic competency in almost every service line
• Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience required
• Must be flexible with holiday scheduling, rotating in with permanent staff
• One week of floor-specific orientation provided
• Scrubs are provided
• No floating required
• Charting system: MEDITECH
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Skills checklist must accurately reflect experience; proficiency required for any skill rated at a 3
• Must live within a 75-mile radius of the hospital based on the address on the traveler's driver's license
