ICU Registered Nurse Job in Stockbridge, GA

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its 24-bed Intensive Care Unit in Stockbridge, Georgia. This is a 98-day travel assignment beginning July 6, 2026, working three 12-hour day shifts per week at $1,814.40 weekly.

Role Overview

You will care for adult and geriatric patients in a busy ICU setting with a typical patient ratio of 1:2–3. The unit maintains an average daily census of 19 patients and manages complex diagnoses including ARDS, sepsis, acute stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-operative complications, cardiogenic shock, GI bleed, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT.

Required Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required at hire
• Demonstrated competency with ventilated patients, central line care and management, CVA/acute stroke management, high-flow nasal cannula, and dysrhythmia interpretation

Unit Operations

The unit uses Pyxis and Epic systems with SBAR communication protocols. You will work with cardiac monitoring, BIS monitoring, train-of-four assessment, Arctic Sun, FloTrac, and IABP devices. Twelve hours of orientation are provided.

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Every-other-weekend coverage required
• Holiday work during the assignment period
• Floating within facility scope of practice as needed
• Maximum 7 days requested time off for the 98-day period
• Full compliance required to start on schedule
