Registered Nurse - ER @ Sutter Health CPMC Van Ness Campus

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 0700-1930 with weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• ED Hold position with float requirements to MS/TELE when not utilized in ED holding
• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 120 patients with 120 visits per day in 32 rooms and 36 beds
• 2 hours of orientation required
• Must demonstrate understanding of evidence-based practice and knowledge of pathophysiology
• Perform clinical procedures including IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, and wound dressings
• Required certifications: CA RN License, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 2 years of ED experience required
• Travel experience required
• Must be willing to float to other CPMC locations if census is low on home unit
• 7-year work history verification required
• Complete non-billable modules during orientation averaging 1-5 hours
