NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work in a Level 3 NICU unit providing comprehensive neonatal care
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1, with tripling possible in low acuity cases
• 41-bed unit consisting of single, double, and triple rooms
• Provide care for all aspects of NICU cases except surgical and cardiac
• Operate and monitor conventional ventilators, high frequency jet ventilators, high frequency oscillators, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and nitric oxide
• Care for sick neonates as primary clinical responsibility
• May be floated to the Well Baby Nursery
• Weekend shifts preferred but not required
• Holiday shifts not required
• No on-call requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous travel experience not required
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS
