Occupational Therapist Job in San Ramon, CA

You'll provide occupational therapy services in a home health setting with CVH Care Home Health, serving the San Ramon area and surrounding communities. This role welcomes new graduates and offers flexibility in how you structure your work.

Position Structure

• Two employment options available: Guaranteed Hours (36 hours weekly with minimum 27 points per week) or Non-Guaranteed Hours (per visit basis)
• Guaranteed option requires completing 27 points weekly and willingness to travel outside your primary service area or work weekends as needed
• Non-guaranteed option may require occasional weekend coverage and travel outside the service area
• Service areas include Fremont, Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Union City, Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, and Piedmont

What You'll Do

• Conduct visit types including OASIS ReCertification, OASIS RoC, Routine, Evaluations, Discharge, and follow-up visits
• Manage patient caseload with compensation based on a per-visit system where each point equals 1.33 hours
• Cover drive time, visit time, documentation, and phone calls within your point allocation
• Willingness to see COVID-positive and COVID-suspected patients required

Required Credentials

• Current California OT License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid Driver's License with current Auto Insurance and Auto Registration
• TB screening (annual), MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (10 years), Flu (annual)
• Drug screen and physical examination
• Home health experience preferred but not required

Important Information

You'll work days on a 182-day contract starting May 4, 2026, at $2,628 weekly. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application. This position is ideal if you're flexible with scheduling and willing to serve a diverse patient population across multiple service areas.
