Special Procedures Technologist Job in Cedar Rapids, IA

UnityPoint - St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking an Allied Health Professional to work as a Special Procedures Technologist in Interventional Radiology (IR). This is a temporary position running for 91 days, beginning July 6, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x9 days (day shift)
• Weekly pay: $2,954.88
• 16 hours guaranteed per shift
• On-call schedule includes 6–8 days per month with every 4th/5th weekend based on staffing needs
• Required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed

Experience and Credentials Required

• 24 months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Active ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Experience with thrombolytics
• Valid driver's license
• Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting
• Experience and proficiency in endovascular procedures
• Iowa radiology license (licensing candidates with varying issuance timelines will be considered)
• Professional reference from charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, or director within 24 months

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Clinical interview pre-screening required
