Job Details:

• Work a generally set schedule 5 days per week, likely including 1 weekend day
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently in radiology without supervision by a radiologist
• Provide speech-language pathology services in acute care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing facility settings
• Possibility of referrals for outpatient care
• Floating to another facility may be required depending on census and staffing
• Document using Meditech computerized documentation for inpatient care and paper and pencil for outpatient documentation
• EMR system transitioning to Epic on November 1, 2025, with training provided
• Orientation to rehabilitation area and expectations will be provided
• Dress code: Scrubs or per facility dress code policy and procedure
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, preferably with SNF level or rehabilitation hospital experience
• Must be able to complete Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently
• Acute care experience required with demonstrated independence and proficiency
• Required certifications and licensures: BLS, active Hawaii rehabilitation license in appropriate discipline
• Must have active Hawaii license by start of assignment
