OR Registered Nurse Job in Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 13-week contract position offering 40 guaranteed hours per week on day shifts.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work 8-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Every 5th weekend on-call required with once-per-week on-call duties
• 20-minute preferred response time for on-call (not to exceed 30 minutes)
• Weekly pay: $2,783.20
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours

Role Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub in to assist across 5 operating rooms and 1 procedure room
• Support surgical specialties including OB/GYN, General, Ortho, Spine, ENT, Podiatry, and Pain management
• Float to PACU or fill sitter needs throughout the hospital if OR census is low
• Willingness to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior facilities as needed
• Use EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin or compact state RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS certification required
• AHA or ARC ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
• Associate degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Ability to demonstrate positive attitude, flexibility, and independent time management
