Operating Room RN Job in Charleston, West Virginia

CAMC Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Charleston, WV. You will work 3x12 day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 23, 2026, with weekly pay of $1,944.

Schedule and Requirements:

• Every other weekend required
• On-call 1 day per week with 30-minute response time; 1–2 weekends per 4–5 week schedule
• Call coverage Sunday through Friday nights 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM as needed
• Major holidays covered by call shifts for emergencies only; limited holiday time-off requests (no more than 1 of 3 major holidays)

Clinical Scope:

You must have experience in both circulating and scrubbing roles. The OR handles an average daily census of 22 cases and requires proficiency across multiple specialties: vascular (AV fistulas/grafts, aortic surgeries, carotids, embolectomies), orthopedics (arthroscopies, total joints), general surgery (colorectal resections, Whipples, liver resections, thyroids, mastectomies), ENT (tracheostomies, laryngectomies, radical neck dissections), urology (cystectomies, nephrectomies, prostatectomies, cystoscopy procedures), robotic cases (gynecologic, colorectal, hernias, laparoscopic Nissens), and gynecology (abdominal/vaginal hysterectomies, pelvic floor repairs). You will also perform vein harvesting and radial artery harvesting.

Qualifications:

• Current WV or Compact RN license (pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year in-specialty OR experience required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
