ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• May be required to work major holidays
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period (every 4 weeks)
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients including their families and caregivers
• Deliver optimal patient care utilizing nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed
• Work in an extremely busy and fast-paced emergency room environment with 80 ER beds
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment required
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS
