Registered Nurse - MS/Tele @ Cone Health - Alamance Regional Medical Center

<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• Every other weekend required with holidays as needed<br>• Float required - all travelers subject to float between ALL Cone Health facilities<br>• Minimum 2 years of experience required<br>• First time travelers accepted<br>• Patient ratio experience of 1:5-6 required<br>• 24 hours of orientation provided<br>• Required certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale<br>• EPIC charting system experience required<br>• Must pass EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)<br>• Telemetry experience required - remote monitoring required, on-unit monitoring preferred<br>• Skills required: Feeding tube care and management, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care/management, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, CVA care, nasal cannula, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patients with multiple co-morbidities<br>• Specialized stroke (neuro) patient population<br>• Daily census of 29 patients across 29 rooms<br>• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences<br>• Complete compliance file required by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date<br>• 50-mile local radius restriction - no locals accepted</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates multiple medical facilities providing comprehensive inpatient medical-surgical telemetry services.
