OR Registered Nurse Job in Ketchum, ID

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at St Lukes Wood River Medical Center. This is a 126-week travel assignment starting September 8, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,880.

Schedule and On-Call Responsibilities

• Work 5 eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weeknight on-call starts at 3:30 PM until 7:00 AM the following morning, typically 4 weeknights per month (may increase based on staffing needs)
• Weekend on-call requirement is typically 1 full weekend per month, Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM
• Must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call
• Contract extends through holidays into January

Role and Responsibilities

• Support a fast-paced OR environment averaging 8 cases per day across 4 OR suites plus 1 endoscopy suite
• Common cases include orthopedic total joints, sports medicine, hand and trauma, general, gynecology, C-sections, and endoscopy
• Assist with cleaning and turning over OR rooms alongside the orderly team
• Float to endoscopy suite as OR team covers endoscopy
• Chart in Epic; use TDOC for instrument tracking and ProVation for endoscopy

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years OR experience with strong orthopedic background required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Some endoscopy experience required
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS recommended
• BSN not required

Onboarding and Logistics

• 5 days of unit-specific orientation provided with a preceptor
• Dress code: Blue scrubs provided per surgical services attire policy; OR shoes required
• Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
