Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II

Job Details:

• Work full-time weekdays from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with one variable weekday off per week
• On-call responsibilities include 1 weekend per month (Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 6:30 AM) and 4 weeknights per month (5:00 PM to 6:30 AM next day)
• No weekend commitment required outside of on-call duties
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology lab required
• Must be able to scrub for all types of heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular, structural heart, and electrophysiology procedures
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Preferred certifications: RCIS or RCES licensure
• ARRT licensure acceptable with scrub experience in cath lab performing heart catheterizations with intervention
• Knowledge of Merge Hemo documentation system preferred
• Must demonstrate understanding of cardiac, vascular, respiratory, and renal physiology and pathology
• Responsible for monitoring diagnostic cardiac catheter procedures and patient safety during procedures
• Must recognize ECG waveform morphology, wave patterns, and lethal arrhythmias
• Ability to calculate basic hemodynamic parameters and record catheterization events
• Must be comfortable working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Physical demands include ability to scrub in sterile environment and wear lead aprons up to 5 lbs for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required with graduate degree from accredited Allied Health Sciences program preferred
