RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday with variable days
• 4x10-hour shift schedule
• 8 days of weekday call and up to 6 days of weekend call per month required
• 1:1 patient ratio in cath lab
• Staffing consists of 3-person cath and call teams with 5-6 staff per day
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required; community hospital or mixed IR & cath lab setting preferred
• Must have experience with both diagnostic procedures and PCIs
• Must have monitor experience (all types), circulating, sedation (RN), and scrubbing (Tech)
• Advanced skills needed: IR, specials, and vascular procedures
• Procedures performed include left and right heart caths, PCI (Type A, B1, some B2 lesions, NO Type C), Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Impella, Getinge IABP, Boston Polaris (FFR and IVUS), and Abbott Illumien FFR
• Equipment used includes GE X-ray and Alaris pumps
• Documentation systems: Merge Hemo and Meditech
• RNs may be required to cover cardiology patients in non-invasive, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine areas
• Required certifications: RN licensure, ARRT or RCIS
• Required dress code: Red top and bottom scrubs OR black top with red bottoms; ceil blue also acceptable
