<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>OT - OT</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant supporting the Occupational Therapist in conducting therapy treatments<br>• No weekends required<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Monitor patient progress to ensure successful completion of treatment plans<br>• Help patients perform exercises and treatment activities to improve mobility and physical health<br>• Encourage patients during their recovery process<br>• Assist injured employees in improving motor skills with goal of workforce re-entry<br>• Teach patients with disabilities to become more independent<br>• Help patients improve quality of life by finding solutions to their problems<br>• Update and maintain patient records for the Occupational Therapist<br>• Keep office, treatment room, and equipment in good order<br>• Teach patients, family members, and caregivers skills and techniques for treatment programs<br>• Record patient health progress and collect medical history information<br>• 1 year of OTA experience required<br>• LTC or Rehab experience required<br>• PTA license required<br>• Missouri state license required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare and rehabilitation facility specializes in providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to help patients improve their mobility, physical health, and overall quality of life.
