Respiratory Therapist Job in Chapel Hill, NC

You will provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients at University of North Carolina Health Care System. This position runs for 96 weeks, with night shifts of 16 hours.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform respiratory assessments and treatments for pediatric patients
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment according to facility standards
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinical needs change
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
• Document patient care activities thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
• Follow established protocols and safety procedures to maintain a safe care environment

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a university health care system setting. Your clinical assessments and interventions will directly support pediatric patients requiring respiratory support and therapeutic intervention.

Requirements: This role is open to Allied Health Professionals with Respiratory Therapist credentials. You will be expected to maintain current licensure and follow all facility protocols for pediatric care delivery.

This is a travel position based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. You will be assigned to University of North Carolina Health Care System for the duration of the contract.
