Pediatric CVOR

Opportunity:

RN - CVOR Peds

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week for 8/10-hour shifts, 36 hours for three 12-hour shifts, or 48 hours for four 12-hour shifts
• Primary focus in pediatric cardiovascular operating room (CVOR)
• Must take CVOR call responsibilities
• Float to main OR when CV cases are not available or when CV cases finish early
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• BLS certification required
• Indiana state license must be in hand prior to start date
• Care for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• Required equipment experience: basic instruments, laparoscopic instruments, sternal saws, Midas drills, basic power equipment
• Preferred equipment experience: DaVinci robot, Censitrac
• Preferred skills: case cart, scrub, crash cart, Fontan procedures, VAD, arterial switch
• Pediatric cardiac experience and trauma experience highly beneficial
• Must maintain aseptic technique
• Floating required 100% - may float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Charting system: Cerner
