CVOR RN Job in Margate, FL

You will work as an RN in a dedicated Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital in Margate, FL. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of June 8, 2026, offering $2,628 weekly pay for a 5x8 day shift (6:45 AM–3:15 PM).

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a specialized cardiac surgery environment with 2 operating rooms. You will maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and scrub in for all service lines. Your responsibilities include observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care. You will demonstrate proficient charting, multi-tasking, and critical thinking while maintaining excellent bedside manner.

Clinical Requirements

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years acute OR experience
• Proficiency in scrubbing and all surgical specialties
• Experience with advanced equipment: Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, laser lead extraction, EVH, and rapid transfuser
• Competency in Meditech documentation system

Facility Details

The unit provides OR scrubs. You will work with a team structure that may include rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities split among 2 RNs and 1 tech based on staffing needs.

What You Need

You must hold a current RN license and be able to function across all surgical specialties, including joint replacement, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, thoracic, ENT, podiatry, plastic surgery, robotics, and gynecology procedures.
