OR RN Job in Glendale, AZ

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking an RN for the Operating Room. This is a 3x12 day shift position with an 89-day duration, starting May 11, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,446.20.

About the Role

You will provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans. Your responsibilities include:

• Assess patients across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural dimensions
• Formulate and implement care plans based on assessment data
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate healthcare team activities
• Delegate and supervise team members as appropriate
• Document nursing interventions and patient responses in medical records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed
• Participate in education, orientation, and mentoring of facility personnel

Requirements

• Current valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification in operating room nursing
