<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technologist, Special Procedures Technologist, Cath Lab Technologist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work day shift with on-call rotation covering weeknights, weekends, and holidays<br>• Experience working at a Level 1 Trauma Center preferred<br>• Training provided in all cardiovascular intervention specialties including Interventional Cardiology, Interventional Neurology, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology<br>• Verify patient identification and signed informed procedural consent<br>• Identify allergies and contrast reaction history prior to procedures<br>• Prepare and sterilize equipment, verify sterile supplies and medication expiration dates<br>• Monitor and record vital signs, assess distal pulses pre and post procedure<br>• Participate in pre-procedural time-out activities<br>• Prepare access sites with sterile drapes and covers<br>• Set up and operate automatic contrast injector<br>• Prepare or assist in administering injectable medications per physician orders<br>• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies<br>• Scrub with physician using sterile and aseptic technique<br>• Advocate for radiation safety and protection, wear personnel radiation dosimeter<br>• Position patients and imaging equipment for desired projections<br>• Acquire and process digital images including road mapping, subtraction, and 3D reconstructions<br>• Assist with ultrasound guidance for vascular access or organ access/biopsy<br>• Provide post-procedural patient care including pressure application and dressing placement<br>• Graduate of accredited radiology program required<br>• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required<br>• ARRT(R) certification required<br>• ARRT(VI) or ARRT(CI) certification required<br>• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center providing comprehensive cardiovascular intervention services.
