Opportunity:

RN - PCU Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every third holiday requirement
• No call or standby requirements
• Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
• Must pass open book exam during orientation with 90% score to continue
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Must live outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Cannot be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit affiliated facility
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove results in contract termination
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring conditions
• Titrate drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
• Work in fast-paced environment requiring positive attitude, communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days floor orientation
• Use EPIC charting system
• BSN not required
