Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 4x12-hour shifts every other weekend
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be comfortable and aware of every other weekend requirement
• Must have Labor & Delivery experience as primary assignment
• PICU experience required with minimum 2 years experience
• Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years required
• May be assigned to PICU, NICU, or Pediatrics based on facility needs
• Float to PICU, NICU, Pediatrics, and potentially IU Health North Hospital
• Work with patient age groups including neonates, infants, and pediatrics
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP (for L&D placement), Indiana State License
• PALS preferred certification
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 100% floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals
• Experience with aerosol setups, BiPAP, CPAP, extubation, ABG interpretation, mechanical ventilation weaning, and pediatric critical care
• Charting system experience preferred with Cerner
• 2 supervisor references required
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
