Pharmacist Job in Peridot, Arizona

You will work as a Pharmacist at Arizona San Carlos Apache Healthcare Center in Peridot, Arizona. This is a 96-week travel assignment with 10-hour shifts on a variable schedule that includes days, nights, swing shifts, and weekends.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Process prescriptions accurately and timely
• Counsel patients on medications
• Handle controlled substances according to policy and federal law
• Work in outpatient pharmacy with ability to support inpatient and emergency department as needed
• Maintain current medication knowledge and flexibility to move where needed
• Adhere to all departmental policies and procedures

Systems and equipment you will use:

• ScriptPro Pharmacy Management System with SP200 Robot
• RPMS Electronic Health Record
• Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets
• Carousel automated medication dispensing system
• Kirby Lester counting machine

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Current and active state unrestricted pharmacy license; Arizona license preferred
• Minimum five years of professional pharmacy experience with two years of management experience
• Hospital experience including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department work
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required for inpatient and emergency department assignments; PALS can be obtained on-site

Preferred qualifications:

• Two years of clinical pharmacy experience

Dress code: Caribbean Blue or business professional attire, closed-toe shoes required. Natural hair color, short nails with no unnatural nails. Non-offensive tattoos and non-excessive piercings; no facial piercings.

Compensation: Weekly pay is $3,289. Your assignment begins July 6, 2026.
