Electrophysiology Lab RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Electrophysiology Lab. This is a 91-day travel position starting April 27, 2026, offering $1,971 weekly pay.

Schedule and Expectations

• Work 3 shifts of 12 hours each week with day shift times varying between 0600–1830, 0700–1930, and 0800–2030
• On-call requirements include Saturday 0700–1700 and Sunday 0700–1400 on a rotational basis, approximately once every 4–6 weeks

Role Responsibilities

You will provide high-level care for patients in the Cardiac Observation Unit, managing high-risk, high-acuity cases throughout the patient journey:

• Admit and prepare patients for catheterization procedures, including charting, IV starts, and access preparation
• Prepare patients for cardioversions and transesophageal echocardiograms
• Recover patients following catheterization procedures with conscious sedation
• Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures including cardioversions and TEE
• Discharge patients with teaching, documentation, and physical discharge
• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform patient tests and administer medications within your scope of practice as a registered nurse

Requirements

• Arizona RN license or current compact state license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience in PACU, ICU, telemetry, cath lab, or surgery center considered on a case-by-case basis
