Job Details:

• Perform a variety of technical procedures utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment
• Accurately perform technical procedures utilizing ultrasonic machinery for the diagnosis of disease
• Position, transfer, and immobilize patients as necessary to perform diagnostic procedures
• Adjust machinery and ancillary equipment parameters in accordance with prescribed procedures to obtain diagnostic medical/legal ultrasound images
• Assist in equipment calibration to maintain department standards
• Perform high level probe disinfection
• Schedule exams and maintain department records
• Assist in quality control programs for the maintenance of prescribed standards
• Available for emergency call back
• Ability to perform basic ultrasound echo and/or peripheral vascular studies required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in vascular and general ultrasound required
• Completion of an accredited Technical Ultrasound Program required
• Required certifications: ARDMS or ARRT (S) registry, BLS, Vascular Registry
• Proficiency with Diagnostic Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound required
• Experience with Epic, G.E. equipment, McKesson EMR, and Siemens equipment preferred
